Shopify puts commerce technology in the hands of entrepreneurs and enables capitalism for good. Going into this video the goal was to showcase that anyone, anywhere, has the ability to impact everyone. The video takes a look at the impact around the world from Kerala, India to Flint, United States. Taking a close look at Rasmi Poduval of Seamstress and Ali Rose VanOverbeke of Genusee. 

My role in the production to work as a producer, director, and cinematographer for the portion of the video focused around Ali Rose VanOverbeke of Genusee in Flint, Michigan. The video was filmed over a period of 4 days where we followed a typical work week in the merchant’s life, as well as conducted interviews to meet the goals of the Shopify economic impact report.
